The new year is almost here and the world still hasn't ended. I bet all those people stocking up supplies preparing for doomsday are pissed. I'm busy working on a few new songs and a video so I haven't had much time to blog. In the spirit of the giving season I offer some banging new muzik from a mix of artists.

Enjoy the tunes, party hard for new years, and check back soon for my new music and videos.

The Darkside of Facebook

Facebook is the most popular social media network on the planet. Everyone I know and probably all the people you know have a Facebook account.  It's a great way to network, chat with people in far away regions, and play an endless supply of games.

This sounds innocent and the Facebook creators sound like humanitarians for bringing people together. The truth is much more sinister.  Facebook was conceived by a think tank of men who work for the C.I.A. (Central Intelligence Agency). This is a crazy rumor...that could be true.

The purpose of Facebook is online data collection and surveillance of the public. Intelligence agencies have had to sneak around and spy on people for years to gain access into their personal lives. On Facebook people volunteer the information without coercion. Satire site the Onion said "The department of Homeland Security reported Facebook has replaced virtually every other information collection program since it was launched in 2004." It's that effective.

Deputy C.I.A director Christopher Sartinsky reported "After years of secretly monitoring the public. We were astounded so many people would willingly publicize where they live, their religious and political views, an alphabetized list of their friends, email addresses, phone numbers, and hundreds of photos of themselves. Including status updates on what they were doing from moment to moment. It is truly a dream come true for the C.I.A."

So who is  Mark Zuckerberg co-creator of Facebook? He is an agency asset that was in charge of handling the daily operations of Facebook. He is a decorated agent and was recently awarded the prestigious "Medal of Intelligence" commendation for his work with the Facebook program. This is all thought provoking information which you can reference through Google or other Internet search engines.

I'm not saying to stop using Facebook. All I'm recommending is that you be more mentally conscious of what you post and not to share too much information. For more details on the subject and the news report describing what I listed above, watch the video below.

The Complete God of War series

I’ve been a fan of G.O.W. since part one was released on the PS2 console. The story is about Krato’s a Spartan warrior who is forced to do the bidding of the Olympian Gods to gain his freedom.  The play is third person meaning you control a character as he moves through the game. There are 5 titles in total G.O.W. 1-3 then Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.

All of the games have ancient Greece as the backdrop for the action mixing original plots with Greek mythology. The creators did an extraordinary job on detail. As an avid gamer I found the control and weapons variety easy to use with a wide selection of weapons to choose from. On each game title the weapons and some of the beasts change so it stays entertaining.

G.O.W– 1-3 chronicles the ascension of Krato’s from an obedient although reluctant man into a vengeful Demigod. He kills Ares the original God of war, usurps his position and power then goes on a quest to free himself from servitude. During his trials Krato’s learns that the Gods fear the return of the Titans who they have kept bound in chains since their defeat.  He completes all the tasks requested by the gods but they re-neg on there promise to set him free. Krato’s goes on a rampage killing Titans and Gods alike. His wrath takes him all the way to Mount Olympus to battle Zeus himself.

G.O.W.– Chains of Olympus is a prequel to the series. Originally it was only for Sony PSP but they remastered the game and released it for the PS3. It was the least engaging out of all 5 titles because it lacked in diversity. Most of the creatures repeat through the levels and there was a lack of mini games (miniature games inside the game) which made the other titles so appealing. The plot-line is that the Dream God Morpheus causes all the Gods sleep while Helios the sun God is kidnapped. With the sun gone Morpheus, Persephone and the Titan Atlas, try to destroy the world while the other Gods are sleeping.

G.O.W.- Ghosts of Sparta is the final title in the series. This is a great title for G.O.W fans because it explores the origins of Kratos. The plot follows Kratos as he finds his mother, Callisto in the undersea city of Atlantis who tells him his brother Deimos, is imprisoned in the Domain of Death. Kratos has to save his brother and fight the God of Death, Thanatos for his freedom. The scenes are superb, the weapons and treasures are on par with the first God of war and the overall game play is excellent.

I think G.O.W is one of the best PS series to hit the market and a must have for any serious gamer who is a fan of third person action.

The Art of Dance

There are 5 elements to Hip-Hop. Most of the time I post the elements of MCing, Knowledge and Graffiti because they were the most influential in my youth.

The art of dance is an element that I appreciate but doesn't get much attention. This post is dedicated to all the breakers and freestyle dancers who do it for the love first, then the pay. The first movie that I ever saw that featured breakdancing was Beat Street

The first movies that focused on breakdancing were Breakin and Breakin 2 Electric Boogaloo. These movies weren't as electrifying as watching the Rock Steady Crew give a live show but they were good because the plot revolved around breaking.

These days dance comes in many forms and breakdance is just one style. The Dubstep generation has brought different elements to the poppin and locking format. The slowed down tempo changes in Dub gives a matrix look to some of the movements.

One of the shows that really brought this Dub/breaking mix to the masses was ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew). Although many people complain about how commercial the show ABDC has become, the first few seasons had some real talented dancers. In my opinion it brought back some of the popularity of being in a dance crew and battling for respect.

Below are videos showing a variety of dance styles and battles from different dance groups. There's French dance sensations Les Twins, Dubstep dance crew Dragon House, America's Best Dance Crew winners Jabbawockeez and many others.
